Canvassing in My Precinct 323 Over the Weekend

This weekend, I joined volunteers in Precinct 323 for direct voter outreach, neighborhood conversations, and literature drops as we continue building momentum toward the November election.

This weekend, I had the opportunity to canvass in my own Precinct 323 and connect directly with neighbors about the importance of participating in the upcoming November election.

Block walking remains one of the most effective ways to reach voters. It gives us a chance to meet people where they are, listen to their concerns, share accurate election information, and remind residents that every vote matters.

I was especially glad to be joined by State Representative Penny Morales Shaw as part of the weekend effort. Working alongside elected leaders, volunteers, and community partners helps strengthen our outreach and demonstrates what it means to organize together at the neighborhood level.

Our team also helped distribute voter information and campaign literature, including materials supporting Dr. Letitia Plummer and Representative Morales Shaw. Every door we knock and every conversation we have is another opportunity to make sure voters know when to vote, where to vote, and why their participation is so important.

For me, canvassing in Precinct 323 is personal. As Precinct Chair, I believe leadership means being present in the community, doing the work alongside volunteers, and building relationships one doorstep at a time.

As November approaches, we have to continue showing up, talking with our neighbors, and making sure our communities are informed and ready to vote. Strong turnout is built through consistent work, and I am proud of everyone who gave their time and energy this weekend.

Stronger Together means exactly that: working side by side, supporting one another, and turning community engagement into action.
